This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Clean Up: Storage & Photos (“Dusty”, the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

      🔒 Your photos and videos stay on your device. Dusty analyzes your media locally on your iPhone to find
      duplicates, screenshots and large videos. We never upload, copy, or transmit your photos or videos to our
      servers or any third party.
    

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not upload or store your photos, videos, or their contents.
We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, or messages.
We do not sell your personal data.

2. Photo Library Access

With your permission (via Apple’s standard system prompt), the App reads your photo library to scan and categorize media. All scanning and analysis happens on-device. When you choose to delete or compress items, those actions are performed through Apple’s system frameworks and always require your confirmation. You can change or revoke photo access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.

3. Information We Process

Purchases & subscriptions. When you buy a subscription or one-time purchase, the transaction is handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate and manage purchase status. We receive purchase-related data (e.g., product identifiers, subscription status, anonymous user identifiers), not your payment details.
Identifiers. An anonymous identifier may be used by RevenueCat to manage your purchase and subscription status. It is not linked to your photos or videos.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

4. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the App’s features.
To manage subscriptions and restore purchases.
To improve performance and fix bugs.

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following providers, each with their own privacy policies:

Apple (App Store / In-App Purchases) — apple.com/legal/privacy
RevenueCat (purchase management) — revenuecat.com/privacy

6. Data Retention

Because we do not store your photos or account content, there is no media data for us to retain. Purchase-related data is retained by Apple and RevenueCat only as long as needed to manage your subscription and purchases.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or to delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Since the data we process is limited to purchase management, you can make a request by contacting us below.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data processed by the App. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
